³⁶ Again he sent-forth other slaves— more than the first. And they did similarly to them. ³⁷ But finally he sent forth his son to them, saying, ‘They will have-regard-for my son’. ³⁸ But the farmers, having seen the son, said among themselves, ‘This is the heir. Come, let us kill him and let us have his inheritance’.
